Paleo Day 8

On to week 2 and all is good. First day with a workout just cardio on the treadmill for 30 mins. After reading the Paleo book you shouldn’t work out the first couple of weeks your body needs to make the transformation from eating all food groups to just eating lean meats, fruit and veggies. If you are like me and build muscles easily you should really try and stay way from weights and heavy muscle building until you have lost 75-80% of your weight. Then start building muscle. Cardiio workouts are great Zumba, Turbo jam, P90x, these are good they tone and burn. When eating a high lean protein diet you body burns more calories. Yeah we all love to hear that!! I have to say day 1 of exercising I am wide awake at 11 pm. Tomorrow I am going to start turbo Jam get a real kick of cardio. I know I am not suppose to but walking on a treadmill is very boring for me even when watching tv or listen to music I need to be moving around.
So today’s meals were eggs and spinach for breakfast with banana and almond butter, snack avocado and tomato salad, Love that!! lunch was Chicken and and sauteed greens dinner was chicken in fresh salsa tossed green salad snack a hand full of almonds.

Tip of the Day lemon and water help keep you hydrated as well as lemon helps keep you PH balanced. I slice up lemons in wheels keep them in the freezer then I drop one in a glass of water it serves two purposes to keep the water cold and it tastes better. You can do this with a lot of fruit pop them in the freezer and then put them in your glass as a fresh and natural flavored water. If you really want to kick up a notch add some fresh herbs, lemon mint, peach ginger, black berry rosemary. The sky is the limit. Make it taste good and keep it healthy Until tomorrow my friends sleep tight!! Oh and before you go to bed tonight if you think about at least one thing you are grateful for it will make you sleep less stressful and you will wake up in a better mood!! Nite all
